The kennel was designed on a smaller scale to maintain a more personable and friendly atmosphere. The pets receive constant attention throughout the day. One of the biggest advantages to the DOGGIE DUDE RANCH is the owner lives on-site. This means no matter what time of day or night, someone is here to take care of your pet.
There are a total of ten kennels. Seven of which have access to 10’ by 6’ runs throughout the day. The runs are covered, allowing the pets access outside during the day rain or shine.
Each kennel is 4.5’ by 5.5’ in size. Kennels are very well lit (natural sunlight) Walls are on all sides of each kennel to provide a sense of sanctuary and peacefulness.
Unique beds are provided; keeping pets off floor. Blankets and dishes are also provided.
The Kennel stays comfortable and cozy during the winter season. It is heated and well insulated. During the summer it stays comfortable and cool. There are lots of windows for fresh air and brightness.
Music is played softly round the clock. Night lights. Treats galore!
Lots of room outside to run and play! We have two large outside yards with over 4,000 square feet of play area. The outside yard includes a wading pool and sheltered area for those hot summer days. This provides our guests with lots of social interaction and plenty of exercise. Your best friend will come home healthy and happy, eager to return to our facility to meet new friends!
Leashed walks around the property are available if desired.
Please bring your pets food. This is best for your pet.
Pet owners are encouraged to bring toys, worn t-shirts, slippers, blanket, etc. from home to make the pets stay more comfortable.
Pet owners are also encouraged to visit the RANCH prior to boarding. This helps ease any tension or fear of boarding.
All pets are checked upon arrival for fleas and ticks. Pets showing signs of either one will be treated at owner’s expense.
DOGGIE DAYCARE:
Daycare for your pet is available twice a week. Perhaps you work long hours, would like to take a day trip or just want a “dog free day” at home. Bring your pet to the RANCH for playtime with other canine friends! Doggie Daycare provides quality socialization and ample exercise.
The dogs are interviewed & screened thoroughly beforehand for any behavioral problems.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet showing aggression towards staff and/or other pets.
IMMUNIZATION POLICY:
Dogs must have current proof of Rabies, DHLP-Parvo and Bordatella (kennel cough). The Bordatella is required at least 7 days prior to boarding. This is for your own pet’s protection as well as the other guests.
All pets over 9 months MUST be spayed or neutered.
